This AP
Computer class has a lot of elements that made me like it. It enhanced my love
for graphic design. I liked that this class is so different than any other
class even the computer class. We were able to create our game and make a
poster type explaining a new innovation. This gave me a new view of the world
of technology. I was never able to learn about coding until this class. This
class allowed us students to explore the coding world and how it functions.
Some things
I don’t like about this class are that I really would of like if we were given
an introduction of how Code studio functioned. Other than that, I liked everything
about this class. I was able to see a different perspective of computers and
how o9ur world interacts with another with the source of coding and systems.
I would
recommend to introduce the students to the scratch program probably right at
the beginning of the school year. For me it took a while to understand the commands
because I didn’t know how they worked, but after so much practice during class
and at home I was able to understand what each command did to the game. Although,
it was a conflict trying to choose the rights ones it might if made it easier
for me if I was exposed to the program earlier.
The highlight
of this class for me was trying to send a code to someone across the room. We
had to work all hands on deck to create an image of how computers sent messages
across the world. Personally, I work
better if I’m doing things with other students. I also learn better if I do
things manually, from my own hands and thought. I would so suggest doing more things like this
for the upcoming students.
I am
writing and reading in my Life Planning book at least 5 minute every day. I
love adding and checking off goals I’ve accomplished. I know my life further on
from now will become more busy, but I will try my very best to at least read
over it when I get the chance to. Reading this book makes me feel like I something
forward on into my life and honestly that makes me feel so amazing.
I am committee
to being a CTR person because it’s what leads you into being a successful person
in the decisions you must take. It’s not
just about doing what you think its right for you but someone doing what’s
right for others. Makin yourself feel like you did the right thing improves your
self-esteem. Being a CTR person will only make you better every time.
