Blown to Bits: Chapter 2 Summary
This chapter has made me brighten up my mind when its comes to how important my security is. Through this chapter, I learned how important it is to watch everything that I do online and even on my daily routines. It is pivotal for me to make sure that what I post online is appropriate because maybe later in my future it may affect me. For example, a women who refused to clean up her dogs mess at a Korean subway, was captured by someone and posted online. She was then known as "gae-ttomng-nyue" which stands for "puppy poo girl" may sound funny but its very embrassrasing. She was identified along wither her family who became ashamed and she then quit school. Things so small like this one can alter your life in an instant. Through the enhancement of technology like this example, the use of a camera to capture allowed this to happen. Just that fact that these incidents can happen to anybody opens myself to be much more careful with the things I say and do.
